2021 Vermont 100 Race Registration Process
The 2021 edition of the VT100 Endurance Race is fast on it’s way (well, here’s hoping!). Here’s an update on registration for the upcoming event.
2020 Registered Runners (on the 2020 start list at the time of race cancellation):
As promised to 2020 registered runners, they have the option to roll their registration into the 2021 or the 2022 VT100. They will have between January 4, 2021 and January 16, 2021 to sign up for the 2021 event. All 2020 registered runners will receive an email with their password to register on or before January 4th.
Any 2020 registered runners who does not sign up for the 2021 VT100 will be emailed in December 2021 regarding registering for the 2022 VT100 during the early registration process.
2020 Wait Listed Runners (on the 2020 wait list at the time of race cancellation):
Runners who were on the 2020 waitlist will have the option to reclaim their spot on the 2021 VT100 waitlist. They will have between January 18, 2021 and January 31, 2021 to sign up and claim their spot – they will be given the same position they were in at the time of cancellation.
Other 2021 VT100 Entries:
On January 18, 2021, registration will open for anyone who wishes to join the waitlist and was not signed up for the 2020 event. They will be placed at the bottom of the waitlist (below 2020 wait listed runners) on a first-come first-serve basis.
Much is unknown, so it is possible that runners on the 2020 waitlists will be moved into the 2021 event, based on how many runners register. We may also elect to hold a small lottery to allow a few ‘lucky’ runners who also join the start list. We will announce more information when we know more.
2021 Team Run 2 Empower:
As always, Vermont 100 also welcomes runners who commit to fundraising for Vermont Adaptive, and have set aside several spots in the event for these runners. There are limited spots on the Team, as most of the 2020 Team Run 2 Empower has rolled their registration into the 2021 VT100. However, applications are being accepted until the spots are taken – more information is available here.
